Syllabus: Application of the Professional Standards and Competencies of Pharmacy Practice in practice situations. An introduction and application of privacy and ethical obligations. Models and strategies in contemporary pharmacy business practice. Role specific skills required for contemporary pharmacy business practice including: Occupational health and safety, Basic industrial relations matters pertaining to small business and hospital pharmacy practice, Human resources management, Management and Leadership: communication, conflict resolution and negotiation, change management, information management and basic financial management concepts.
