Syllabus: | Evolution of Australian Pharmacy Practice and industry trends and developments. Provision of pharmaceutical services to residential care facilities and hospitals. Clinical governance as it relates to the quality use of medicines - including drug utilisation review and evaluation, formularies, therapeutic guidelines and the National Prescribing Service. Provision of medication review services, disease state management, health promotion and other current advancements in cognitive pharmaceutical service delivery. Provision of dose administration aids including application of pharmaceutical principles to the repackaging of pharmaceuticals. Harm minimisation. Quality assurance and continuous quality improvement in pharmaceutical practice. Continuous professional development. |
