Syllabus: | Issues relating to student's clinical placement experience: hospital malnutrition, screening those at risk of poor nutritional status, and outcomes of nutritional support. Nutritional issues relating to pregnancy and infants; case studies. Emerging issues in nutrition and dietetics. Students will be required to prepare and present a seminar selected from a range of topics, which relate to a disease or condition and diet. This will require reading with critical evaluation. |
