Syllabus: | Patient care. Positioning theory for the chest, abdomen, upper extremity and shoulder girdle. Positioning theory for lower extremity and thoracic cage. Laboratory component - development of imaging skills, application of geometric principles and axial relationships in relation to radiography of the chest, abdomen, extremities, shoulder and pelvic girdles, thoracic cage and spine. Handling of instrumentation for general contrast procedures, mobile and theatre radiography. Clinical component - clinical experience in radiography of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, the shoulder and pelvic girdles, bony thorax and spine. |
