Syllabus: Application of statistical methods for solving problems in agribusiness. Review of principles and applications of various statistical techniques. Review of statistical concepts and methods, including presentation of data calculating numerical measures of location and variability, sampling methods, design sample frame, and data transformation. Exploration of the relationship between experimental design and analysis, including variance (ANOVA), multivariable analysis of variance, non-parametric techniques, time series analysis, comparison of means (t-test), correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, and cluster analysis. Study of various techniques for analysing and presenting qualitative and quantitative data, as well as other numerical measures of univariate and multivariate statistics.
