Syllabus: | The movement towards sustainability requires a whole new set of processes, and therefore a new set of critical concepts underpinning these processes. In this core unit we examine pathways that enable the development and implementation of sustainability, such as change and transition management theory, reflexive governance; cultural value analysis, policy development and learning, sustainability planning, community engagement/deliberative democracy; and social learning and the media. You will develop both specific skills and understanding of the theories behind these skills. |
