Syllabus: | Student-based study program where students write their own contract in consultation with staff. A production project which requires students to design prototypes and, where appropriate, resource some of their processes from the industry. It is designed to establish a firm foundation for independent practice in the establishment of personal goals, consolidation of skills, and the undertaking of research necessary to realise creative ambitions. During this project the student explores workshop management and production processes appropriate to their production project. Materials investigation continues with exploration into alternative industrial materials suitable for small-scale objects and jewellery. |
