Syllabus: | Introduction to mining operations and activities. DriIling techniques, sampling and analysis including QAlQC of mining data. Collection of lithological and structural data from dri\1 core and driIl chips. Application of mining software to geological data visualization and modelling. Classical and geostatistical methods of resource estimation. Grade control and reconciliation. Mine visits to view mining process and geologists role. JORC code and mandatory reporting requirements for geological data. |
