Introduction
Designed for professional logistics specialists who are interested in significantly advancing their careers in the area of logistics and supply chain management. Areas of study include: principles of logistics management, global distribution and transportation, materials management, logistics information systems, managing information systems projects and risks, operations management and strategic logistics management. This course meets the needs of professionals with technical and supervisory skills in logistics and supply chain management.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree in a field other than business, economics or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. An alternative entry is the graduate certificate (in an approved discipline) or significant professional experience.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation
Consists of eight units of study, each carrying 25 credits, totalling 200 credits. It is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. Students will develop an understanding of the principles of enterprise logistics management, global distribution and transportation, materials management in an enterprise environment, strategic logistics management, operations management and managing information systems projects and risks along with one elective.

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
