Syllabus: | This experimental unit examines a broad definition of the human body encounters with enclosure, questioning it as a construct that is imagined, fantasized, imposed, physical and/or ephemeral. For the purposes of developing an understanding of the human complex relationship with enclosure, students are required to engage with relevant theory, events, encounters, discussions and critical review and to individually and or collectively define and demonstrate enclosure on their own terms, to work collaboratively to speculate on enclosure as a proposition and to test that proposition. |
