Syllabus: | General biology, adaptations, ecology and taxonomy of the Australian flora, with particular emphasis on the south-west region of Australia. This unit focuses on the fire responses and fire related life history traits, parasitic and carnivorous plants, reproductive biology, floral characteristics and taxonomy of selected dicot and monocot plant families, and an understanding of Western Australia's vegetation types. |
