Syllabus: | Student nurse's role within the health care team in a health care agency setting. Nursing communication in regards to client and family's response to illness within a health care agency setting. Communicating with families and other health care agencies.Professional knowledge within a health care setting client advocacy, channels of communication, client centred care, documentation. Partnerships in care within health care agencies. Integrated health care including mental health. Use of the ecological model to deal with nursing problems in the unstable hospitalised client, i.e solutions within the context of the individual, no one size fits all. Nurses' contribution to the inter professional health team. Qualitative approaches to nursing research. |
