Syllabus: | Based on an active learning approach, this practice oriented unit is an opportunity to integrate material covered in the course in an experiential manner. It is designed to consolidate and extend theories, communication skills and professional competencies in a variety of social work practice contexts. Students are presented with the opportunity to practise specific skills such as interviewing children, dealing with grief and loss, working with disability, engaging with cultural and language diversity. |
