Syllabus: | The content of this unit covers the scholarship of teaching. In particular it focuses on accepted theories, concepts and practices of teaching. Policies and contemporary challenges in teaching are introduced. Students are taught effective teaching strategies and class management practices. This unit encourages students to critically reflect on their personal practice, the implementtaion of teaching skills and their role as a facilitator of learning. |
