Syllabus: | Space and time provide a context for experience in the world around us. As with other art, design, and media practices, multimedia designs manipulate spatial and temporal experiences by creating space and time using design tools. Time no longer has to be unidirectional, and the dimensions of space can fold and expand. This unit offers students opportunities to explore these fundamental aspects and develop an understanding of how space and time can be represented, manipulated and constructed. |
