Syllabus: | The management processes of planning, implementation and control of agriculture and associated industries including animal husbandry, dryland cropping and grazing systems and integrated pest and disease control. Analysis, implementation and monitoring of existing strategies and tactics for these enterprises and activities in agribusiness. Selected topics include - whole business analysis, technical and economic management of dryland crop and grazing production systems. Includes application of these principles to the university and other farms. Students will complete a professional practice work placement in an agribusiness. |
