Use of Aplication software - Multiframe, microSTRAN, Spacegrass. Stiffness and flexibility matrices for individual members. Stiffness method - procedure (full and direct methods). Stiffness method - applied to trusses, beams and frames. Flexibility method - procedure and concepts. Flexibility method - applied to trusses, beams and frames. Self straining of structures. Plastic Analysis of Structures. Influence Lines for Frames. Structural Dynamics. Case Studies of analytical problems and engineering failures. |
