Syllabus: | A major project in the application of one or more aspects of geological engineering to a mining operation or field area. This may be in the areas of exploration geochemistry, mining geophysics, structural analysis, geomechanics, ore reserve estimation, environmental geology, applied mineralogy or other areas as approved by the Head of Department. This project may follow on from Mapping Project 491. Final year dissertation project. |
