Introduction

UniReady will enable students to matriculate into Curtin (and other universities). The program incorporates a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness that caters to students with a wide range of educational backgrounds, ages and experiences. This program is flexible enough to allow students to complete one, some or all of the units in the course depending on Recognition of Prior Learning.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age (and can submit an application in the year of turning 18). All applications are also required to submit a 500-word personal statement highlighting their personal goals and aspirations.

Specific Requirements (HB)

The course is available fully online via flexible delivery modes which include live web conferencing support sessions. At application, students are required to consult with the coordinator to determine eligibility and a career pathway.

Note

Applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Upon successful completion of the course, those who wish to continue on to degree level studies are required to consult with the Course Coordinator to determine eligibility and a career pathway. a tertiary entrance aggregate will be generated from each individual's academic result.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applicants cannot receive recognition of prior learning for completed bridging units when transferring to award courses.

Duration and Availability (HB)

The program is one semester full-time study or two semesters of part-time study and two intakes are offered per year, one in each semester.

Course Organisation

Students will complete the units required for matriculation and/or entry into some courses of study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
