Introduction
This major is concerned with the skills and knowledge necessary for the development of safer, healthier and more efficient workplaces. Core principles of risk management and assessment and specialisation in a range of occupational safety topics result inimprovements in workplace health and safety through the prevention of injury, diseases and adverse environmental impacts.
