Syllabus:	Moral, political and social theory for social policy. Exploration of concepts such as equality, justice, freedom, responsibility and human needs. The state in a democratic society. The individual and the state. Social science, social policy and the policy analysis. Impact of social policy. The welfare state and social policy.
