Syllabus: Biology, ecology and geomorphology of coral reef systems: larval, settlement, recruitment and post-recruitment ecology, community structure, evolution, effects of physical conditions and anthropogenic impacts, coral bleaching, morphology and growth history of coral reefs, records of sea level and climate change, interactions between geomorphology, physical processes and ecology.
