Syllabus: | Measurement of Rheological properties of drilling fluids such as viscosity, gel strength and yield point. Drilling fluid behaviour at high temperature & pressure. Measurement of pH, density and wall building characteristics (filtration etc) of drilling fluids. Mud additives evaluation. Drilling fluid contaminants and their effects. Measurement of other properties of drilling fluids such as lubricity, emulsification, resistivity and hydrocarbon content. |
