Syllabus: | Diagnosis and management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological) of a range of common diseases and disorders: sleep disorders, headache, epilepsy, pain and Parkinson's disease. Anxiety, depression, psychosis, schizophrenia, mania and bipolar affectivedisorder. Acne, drug eruptions, psoriasis, skin infections, dermatitis. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and gout. Malaria and other hazards of travelling. DVT & PE, strokes, anaemia and bleeding disorders. Pituitary and adrenal disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disorders. Specific aspects of HIV/AIDS Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, genital warts, genital herpes, human papilloma virus. Female contraception and emergency contraception. |
