: | Designing for economic manufacture. The study of selected methods of production, tools, equipment, technologies and materials are applied to a creative project. Economic comparisons and choices are made appropriate to the students chosen direction. Concepts studied and applied include reverse engineering, re design, material usage, sustainability and design analysis. Advanced workshop or computer based activities enable students to develop market or exhibition ready work. |
