Syllabus:	Introduction to principles of metallurgical processes and their applications to the production of metals and minerals particularly those that are of economic importance to Australia. These include gold, nickel, copper, alumina/aluminium, mineral sands, lead, zinc, diamonds and tin/tantalum and silicon, iron and coal- amongst others.
