Prerequisite(s):	6901 (v.5) Human Biology 138 or any previous version AND 309794 (v.2) Medical Imaging Practice 233 or any previous version
Syllabus:	Introductory pathology disease processes and body defence mechanisms, infection and inflammation; cell necrosis; carcinogenesis and neoplasia, trauma; pathological effects of ionizing radiation. Systematic pathology dealing with the common abnormalitiesof whole body system including skeletal, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, urinary, reproductive, cardiovascular, endocrine and central nervous systems. Various imaging modalities that are routinely used in clinical practice for making diagnosis are presented and compared with regard to the diagnostic accuracy, together with typical imaging appearance of the pathologies.
