Syllabus: This unit will build knowledge and develop competence and skills in the techniques that support hazard recognition and the assessment and control of risks associated with workplace settings. It also includes practical frameworks for the application of occupational and environmental health risk assessment and detailed examination of the roles of risk perception and risk communication in risk control and management.
