Syllabus: | Introduction to financial modelling using real-world models. The development process: understand, design, build, test, implement and maintain. Using Excel as a modelling tool. Design principles and the user interface. Workshop design (benefit projection modelling). The analytical process (using workers compensation insurance as an example) Workshop analysis (workers compensation insurance modelling). Completion testing, security and maintenance. Introduction to modelling using VBA and advanced VBA techniques. Working with data in Excel. Stochastic asset/liability modelling. Workshop stochastic (stochastic asset/liability modelling). |
