Syllabus:	This unit explores various types of research and introduces a range of relationships between research and creative production or academic work. Key topics include setting the student in relation to the topic, converting the student's topic to a research question, defining the relationship between project and exegesis, and setting the research pattern. The unit is taught through structured (though informal) seminars.
