Syllabus: | What is science? Paradigm shifts, ethics and values in science. Research design: quantities and qualitative research paradigms and methodology. Experimental methods and hypothesis testing. Clinical research. Epidemiological research, cohort studies and case control studies. Qualitative research. Parametric and non-parametric analysis and selected tests. Conducting an independent research project and presenting findings and conclusions. |
