Syllabus:	Under the direction of the editor, production editor and other senior staff of the Western Independent, students learn editing, sub-editing, layout and graphic manipulation skills. Students coordinate student reporters and photographers in rounds and need to undertake weekend and night work to ensure that the Western Independent is ready for publication.
