Syllabus: | Water chemistry: nutrients, pH, and conductivity. Assessment of water quality. Effluents and water quality. Aquatic systems health, ecological indicators and biomonitoring of aquatic systems, practical survey techniques of studying macrophytes, riparian vegetation with emphasis on wetlands, rivers and streams - invertebrates, diatoms and harmful algal blooms. Restoration, rehabilitation and management of degraded aquatic ecosystems. |
