Curtin's Politics and International Relations major provides both general and specialised studies in political ideas, processes and institutions, both Australian and international. The program covers the fields of comparative politics, political theory, Australian politics and foreign policy. Topics include electoral behaviour and processes, environmental change and management, economic and political globalisation, trade, human rights and international security considered broadly, encompassing military, politics, energy, food and water security.
