MJRH-CLNMS v.1 Clinical Medical Science Major
Major/Stream Overview

The Clinical Medical Science Major is designed to prepare you for a career in clinically focused Biomedical Science research. Along with undertaking a series of core research skill units, this major will focus on developing your knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, complemented by advanced skills in immunology, neuroscience and stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. Theoretical knowledge will be reinforced by practical experiences, with a strong emphasis on work integrated learning and development of medical research skills in 'real-world' scenarios. This major will prepare graduates to be well-equipped to undertake research in a wide range of clinical and biomedical disciplines.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks and other essential study materials. Students must obtain an Anatomy License and may be required to purchase a laboratory coat and safety glasses for the laboratory component.
