| Syllabus: | This unit covers the theoretical and practical aspects of engineering surveying including geometric aspects of road design, it’s set-out, planning and surveying of local control networks for construction surveying and as-constructed surveys, set-out techniques for construction surveying and sewerage. In addition, computation of volumes of earthworks and checking verticality of structures are included. The unit demonstrates adjustment, maintenance and calibration of total stations. It includes comprehensive practical and software training. |
