| Syllabus: | This unit will focus on the policy and practice of macroeconomics and will focus on understanding the business cycle in the short run. Topics will cover the theory of consumption, saving and investment in closed and open economies, monetary policy and aggregate demand, the Phillips curve and aggregate supply, aggregate demand and supply analysis, fiscal policy, exchange rates and international economic policy. |
