Pathway to Further Study
Graduates may qualify for entry to some Graduate Diplomas and Master degrees. For further details, see the University website http://curtin.edu.au.
Specific Course Completion Details
Successful completion of this Graduate Certificate may enable a qualified teacher to teach History as a classroom subject. Prospective students are advised to contact the relevant Teachers Registration Board regarding the requirements of gaining a qualification in History teaching in their State. Some states require four units in the History discipline. If this is the case in your State, you will need to take a fourth History unit from another provider. If your State does not require you to study a curriculum unit, you may substitute another History unit for the curriculum unit offered by Curtin.
