Syllabus:

This unit focuses on developing key leadership and management skills with the goal of enhancing students' own managerial effectiveness. It is designed for students who have some managerial experience as the application of the content and learning to current management practice is essential for maximum benefit. Through the use of intensive reading, journal work, individual and team assignments, students will develop effective strategies for clarifying personal and professional vision, organisational learning, coaching, time management, negotiation skills, stress management and communication skills as well as examine the developing roles of managers in their regional and global environments.
