Specific environmental exposures including air pollution, air toxics, bioaerosols, persistent toxic substances, and heavy metals. The important role of exposure to poor water quality, poor sanitation and hygiene and the compounding effects of poverty andmalnutrition. Specific adverse effects in children caused by environmental exposures, including infectious disease, respiratory diseases and allergies, childhood cancers, neurobehavioural and developmental disorders, endocrine disorders and reproductive health effects. |
