Syllabus: |
Embedded microcontroller programming, simulation, compiling and downloading, using timers and interrupts, basic PCB design using CAD software, voltage regulated power supply design, optoisolation, serial communications, UART interfacing, 'master-slave' protocol design, high-level PC programming, PWM control of DC motors, using Analog-to-Digital converters, using matrix keypads and controlling LCD displays. Students will work in teams to program and control a mobile robot. |
