Syllabus:

Vector analysis - scalar and vector fields, vector operators, line, surface and volume integrals and differential operators. Coordinate systems - Cartesian, circular cylindrical and spherical and transformation between coordinate systems. Electrostatic field - Coulombs law, electric field intensity, electric flux density, Gauss' law, electrostatic energy and potential, capacitors, Laplace's and Poisson's equations. Magnetostatic field - magnetic flux density, magnetic force, Stokes' theorem and Ampere's circuital law, boundary conditions. Time varying fields - displacement current, Faraday's law, inductance and Maxwell's equations.
