Health appraisal theory, health assessment, health surveillance, monitoring, developmental assessment. Professional communication, family partnerships, developing helping relationships, advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural security, socialjustice and legal and ethical issues. Scope of practice, clinical protocols. Professional accountability and competency standards.
