Transdisciplinary grounding in public health theory and practice. Origins and development of public health and the major public health problems of developed and developing countries. An examination of the agents, host factors and environmental conditions that are determinants of public health. Criteria for ethical public health practice (regulatory, technical, cognitive, structural and participative interventions of public health). Public health planning, implementation and program evaluation.
