Syllabus:

Body defence - infectious diseases, infection relevant to maternal, neonatal and paediatric physiology. Homeostasis - fluid and electrolyte balance. Mobility - congenital and acquired dysfunction. Metabolism/nutrition physiology of breast feeding. Elimination - obstruction , malabsorption. Oxygenation - common childhood diseases. Maternal and neonatal physiology - physiology of pregnancy, adaptations and the neonate. Reproduction - infective states, fertility, men's health and hormonal imbalance.
