Patterns of social inequality in Australian society related to class, gender, ethnicity and age. Cross-cultural communication. Patterns of health and illness in multicultural communities. Historical context of immigrant health. Health status and barriersto service delivery. Indigenous health, historical context of traditional health beliefs and practices. Indigenous initiatives in change.
