Syllabus:

Modifying birth practices. Evidence based plans of care in complex situations. Midwifery emergencies. Bereavement and loss. Delivery of health maintenance and promotion strategies for maternity clients. Evaluation of maternity care strategies through the establishment of outcome criteria and application of standards of practice.
