Syllabus: |
Practical - clinical use of local analgesics. Pharmacy systemic - pharmacology of drugs used in treating systemic disease and their relevance to podiatry pharmacology of local anaesthetics. Medicine - immunological factors in disease, disorders of the central nervous system, cardiovascular, endocrine and musculoskeletal system. Clinical pathology - causes of disease and principles of surgery in treating disease. Ulcer classification. Hypertrophy, necrosis and gangrene, osmotic balance, allergies, haemorrhage and shock. |
