This double degree provides students with a broad education within the areas of social sciences and media information.
TEE English or English Literature, minimum scaled mark of 60 desirable.
STAT elements considered are E and either V or Q.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
The course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study. Provided that the stipulated prerequisites and corequisites are fulfilled, enrolment on a part-time basis is permitted.
Students undertake the Anthropology, Geography, History, Politics or Sociology major in combination with the Film and Television, Internet Studies, Journalism, Librarianship and Corporation Information or Media Studies major. Students enrolled in the double degree program may elect to transfer to a single degree course in one of the two disciplines. In this event the relevant Head of Department shall determine the amount of credit to be transferred to the single degree.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
