Introduction
This is a multidisciplinary health course designed for public health practitioners and others intending to develop skills and knowledge in public health.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A Bachelor of Science plus a minimum two years of relevant post-bachelor degree work experience. Work experience is assessed on the basis of level of seniority and responsibility, job description, work-based referee support, publications or other written reports and short courses or conference attendance. Where applicants do not meet the two-year work requirements, they may study the course on a part-time basis.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is of four semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study and is available internally or through distance education.
Intermediate Awards I
A student who has completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval from the Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate awards approved for this course appear below.
